Pre Painted PPGI Steel Coil with 10–25μm Top Coating and 30–275g/m² Zinc Coating for Roofing and Infrastructure Panels
1.Product Overview
Pre Painted Steel Coil is a color coated steel material designed for roofing systems, wall cladding, appliance panels, infrastructure projects, and industrial fabrication. The product combines zinc coating protection with pre-painted surface treatment to improve corrosion resistance, surface durability, and appearance consistency.
With multiple paint systems including PE, SMP, HDP, and PVDF, the coil can be selected according to indoor, outdoor, coastal, or high UV exposure environments.
2.Technical Solution
The steel substrate is processed with zinc coating and continuous paint coating technology. The zinc layer improves resistance to moisture and corrosion, while the paint coating system improves weather resistance, color retention, and surface protection.
The 10–25μm top coating provides the exposed surface protection layer for outdoor and visible applications. The 5–7μm back coating improves reverse-side corrosion resistance during transportation, roll forming, installation, and long-term service.
PE coating is commonly used for general construction panels, while SMP, HDP, and PVDF coatings are suitable for higher durability and outdoor exposure requirements.
