Product Description

Hot-Dip Galvanized Corrugated Roofing Sheet with Custom Zinc Coating for Industrial and Residential Roofing

1.Product Overview

Hot-Dip Galvanized Corrugated Roofing Sheet is a profiled steel building material manufactured from galvanized steel sheet through continuous corrugating or roll-forming processes.

The hot-dip zinc coating provides metallic corrosion protection for the steel substrate, while the corrugated profile increases sheet rigidity and supports efficient rainwater drainage.

This product is commonly used for industrial workshops, warehouses, agricultural buildings, residential roofs, equipment shelters, temporary buildings, and wall cladding systems. Thickness, zinc coating, profile dimensions, effective width, and sheet length can be selected according to project requirements.

2.Technical Solution

The steel substrate is continuously hot-dip galvanized before profiling. During galvanizing, the prepared steel strip passes through a molten zinc bath to form a protective metallic coating on both sides.

After galvanizing, the flat sheet is processed through a roll-forming line to create the specified corrugated or trapezoidal profile. The formed ribs increase panel rigidity and direct rainwater along the roof slope.

The roofing profile can be designed according to required wave height, pitch, overall width, effective coverage width, roof slope, purlin spacing, and installation method.

Surface treatments such as passivation, oiling, chromate-free treatment, or anti-fingerprint treatment can be selected according to storage, transportation, fabrication, and appearance requirements.

6.Advantages

  • Hot-dip zinc coating provides metallic corrosion protection for roofing and cladding applications.
  • The corrugated profile improves rigidity compared with an unprofiled flat sheet of the same thickness.
  • Customized zinc coating levels allow the material to be matched with different service environments.
  • Profile dimensions can be selected according to roof structure, drainage requirements, and installation design.
  • Customized sheet lengths can reduce unnecessary cutting and transverse joints during installation.
  • The natural galvanized finish can be used directly where an additional decorative coating is not required.
  • Effective coverage width can be optimized according to the roofing profile and side-lap design.
  • The sheets can be stacked for transportation and supplied directly for construction-site installation.

7.How to Choose

  • Choose the sheet thickness according to purlin spacing, roof span, wind conditions, profile depth, and required panel rigidity.
  • Select the steel grade according to forming requirements and the structural performance required from the finished roofing profile.
  • Choose the zinc coating according to humidity, rainfall, industrial exposure, agricultural conditions, and expected outdoor service environment.
  • Confirm the profile shape according to roof slope, drainage capacity, architectural appearance, and compatibility with the supporting structure.
  • Check both overall width and effective coverage width. Roofing quantity calculations should be based on effective width after side overlap.
  • Specify sheet length according to roof slope dimensions, transportation limits, lifting conditions, and installation requirements.
  • Confirm the required wave height and wave pitch when the roofing sheet must match an existing profile.
  • Select suitable roofing screws, sealing washers, ridge caps, flashing, gutters, and closure accessories according to the final profile.

8.FAQ

Q1.What is galvanized corrugated roofing sheet?

It is hot-dip galvanized steel sheet formed into a corrugated or trapezoidal profile for roofing, wall cladding, shelters, and other building applications.

Q2.Can the zinc coating be customized?

Yes. The zinc coating can be selected according to the expected service environment and project corrosion-protection requirements.

Q3.What is the difference between overall width and effective width?

Overall width is the complete physical width of the roofing sheet. Effective width is the actual coverage after adjacent sheets are overlapped during installation.

Q4.Can the roofing profile be customized?

Yes. Wave height, wave pitch, profile shape, overall width, and effective width can be produced according to manufacturing capability and project requirements.

Q5.Can the sheet length be customized?

Yes. Sheet length can be selected according to roof dimensions, transportation requirements, handling conditions, and production capability.
